Is Reality At All What It Appears to Be? Or Are You Being Controlled?

It's difficult to believe that it's the end of April 2025. Time seems to be speeding up!  I'm not sure about you, but I am making huge internal and personal shifts. How about you? In reality when change occurs, we typically look the same on the outside. Most of the time (unless we had an addiction of some sort), no one can "see" the changes externally, but on the inside, so much transpires and changes. It has for me. I definitely know what is going on in this holographic world, and I know that there is more to be revealed. I've always stated, "use discernment" and that is what I encourage you to do more than ever such as in regard to feeling the energy of people, corporations, institutions, and systems. Don't follow the crowd. Get out of your bubble to "see" what is really going on. Reality is not what it appears to be. If you've read my posts, you know that I've experienced just a few (lol) things. On this blog, Wake Up to Live...

From the Queen of Victimhood to Sovereignty

Raise your hand if you can honestly say to yourself that you can be the best queen of victimhood, at times? Come on, let's be honest with ourselves!

This year as I was setting up the things I wanted to focus on for 2025, a lot of limits and rules came up for me.

For example:

1. Boundaries, to honour my true self.

2. A daily spiritual practice, such as meditation and yoga.

3. Minimizing or unloading, such as furniture or other small items not needed.

4. Keeping things simple, which includes things like meals, shopping lists, and clothing.

5. Daily and conscious living in the heart - checking in hourly or more.

6. Spending more time in nature, connecting and praying.

. . .

I have other goals such as strength training, kundalini yoga teacher training, as well as learning to use my shamanic drum, but the first six I listed are more about conscious daily rituals for my spiritual path. I want (I actually need this!) my spiritual path to be at the forefront of my life, and for my work to reflect my spiritual path.

Many of us have lives where we go to work because we need a paycheck only to compromise our values on a daily basis. Most people would also say, "Well, that's just the way life is." I disagree.

Here is an example of what I mean. If you believed in the entire COVID hoax, you would have submitted to the vaccines and the mask mandates. l will never say that COVID was not real, but when you do the research, the COVID virus has been around for many decades. Right now, we are all living in a hologram and it is our responsibility to wake up to it. Again, another blog post. :)

In any event, I am not here to argue about COVID, but what I am hear to say is that if you worked in the health care field, you would've had to submit to their mandates or get fired, which thousands of nurses did. Mainstream media likes to low ball how many actually got fired due to the vaccine mandates, but that (again) is another story.

For the past several years, I have been trying to "fit in" my spiritual path and practice with my current work. I've been working at a job that is not in alignment with my core values. Then I have to switch when I leave work. For example, at work a nurse was giving out the influenza vaccine. Everyone was rolling up their sleeves to get the free vaccine administered. I was rather quiet to avoid the whole thing, but eventually a couple of the nurses asked me why I wasn't getting mine. I just said, "I had a reaction the last couple of times I got it, so I'd rather not get it." She looked at me with skepticism, but it still shows you that I am lying and compromising my truth to keep the role I am in.

You ask, "How is this working for me?" I say, "Not well!" The differences in energy have become too much to bare. I feel like a coward and a fraud. Because of this, during these past few months I have been considering a role in my work that aligns with who I am so I don't have to compromise myself, my non-negotiables, or my core values.

In the process of doing all of these things, with daily meditation practices and connecting to my Dreamer, I have become acutely aware of my state of being - meaning whether I am in victim mode or when I am self-empowered. It's not like I'm impressed with myself when I realize I'm in victim mode. Sometimes, I'd simply like to justify my victimhood and move on so I don't have to change. But how is that going to work for me? It's not. No one said that growth and healing are easy. Self-awareness can shake you to the core and make you sick to your stomach! But we all have a choice how we proceed forward when we do become self-aware of some thing that needs change.

As you can imagine and most likely know, you can't change anything if you stay in the victim mode. Once I become aware of something, and if I choose to put the lid of ignore or denial on it, how will that help me? It won't.  Self-awareness is key to change. The best way to do this is to consciously catch yourself when you are in that state of victimhood (the sooner the better), acknowledge or declare it (because this is how you take responsibility), and then look at another way to go about things.

For example, sometimes I whine about my situation/circumstances and why it isn't different or I feel stuck. The moment I catch myself quietly mumbling these thoughts, I then ask myself, "How can I be more sovereign?" "What does being sovereign look like?" "Who must I become to a divine sovereign being?"

Many of us don't even realize that we are in a victim mode because we are so used to being in it (scroll and read comments on FB and see how many people are in a state of victimhood!), but the more you pull yourself out of these thought processes and emotional patterns that hold you back by asking good questions, the sooner you are to a sovereign and happier life.

Much Love,

Desiree
