A Path of Discovery

"If your heart acquires strength, you will be able to remove blemishes from others without thinking evil of them." ~Mohandas K. Gandhi.

When we focus on the flaws and deficiencies of others, it holds us away from spiritual connection and strength. Spiritually disconnected people will always find the worst in others. Finding deficiencies in others and ourselves will be a norm since that will be all that we see.

To increase our spiritual strength and joy, cultivate the habit of seeing others good and look for the best in them. Get conscious about the way we see others and situations we encounter during the day.

Control the powers of your own perceptions even when someone has condemned, blamed or criticized you. It is easy to fly off the handle and then apologize later. It takes more strength to make an effort and see the best or the Divinity within.

The World is Within Us All

The World Is Within Us All
Last evening was long but it was fantastic. I had the pleasure to see and experience the presence of Deepak Chopra. He is absolutely incredible. He explains consciousness so that a nine year old could understand It; in a well formatted progressive manner without a whole lot of jargon and big words. It was like taking 'the stairs of understanding' to a deeper state of consciousness.

If we want to change the world we must first shift in our own consciousness. We will then be a reflection of light cast onto the world around us. Many of us try to change the world without changing ourselves but only the reverse is true. Why is this so true? Because when we dwell in the deeper state of consciousness, the closer we are to union consciousness; which is manifestation of peace, love, harmony and joy. When we understand that the world is in us and that we are not of this world, we will 'be' local and non-local at the same time, or spirit and p…

Design Your Life

Because many people don't know they are creating their own life out of default, they continue to do it over and over, living a life of dissatisfaction and discontent. They are the ping pong balls hit back and forth from circumstance to circumstance designed by someone else.

Let's not only get educated about who and what we really are, let's start listening to our innate abilities. Our natural instincts are knocking on our intellect asking to be heard.

"The entire world is brimming with aliveness in the orgasmic sense." -Alfred North Whitehead

I love this quote. We can live a life in an orgasmic sense but we have been so conditioned to think that it is hard, labored and just plain old fate that is creating our circumstances. We then brood over it believing we have no control over what is happening. Wake Up and smell the ammonia! We create our own reality.

Yes, it takes effort, discipline and much control--letting go of negative emotions, training the free f…

You Are Truly Amazing

You can do anything you set your mind and heart to.
You carry within you worlds of possibility,
as rich and amazing as any landscape on earth.
Feel confident, keep things positive.
sky's-the-limit, abundance, possibilities -
Don't hold back on the size and scope of your dreams.
Whatever you dream you can do.
DREAM - big, wide - Dream as far as your heart can see.
The shortest distance between two points is a leap of faith -
so let yourself BELIEVE, in miracles, in yourself.
Believe that wishes really do come true.
Trust that the perfect thing is always coming your way.
TRUST your heart, the journey, your soul.
Trust that you can achieve anything.
Remember that every day,
every moment you are creating your destiny.
CREATE with feeling, intention, joy...
And let yourself really live.
LIVE with passion and gratitude,
on the edge of your comfort zone.
Live your heart's desire.
You can transform all your possibilities.
CREATE the life you were…

Beauty in Writing

I was rereading the book Quantum Healing: Exploring the Frontiers of Mind/Body Medicine by Deepak Chopra yesterday for some research. Chopra writes with grace, eloquence and clarity keeping you enchanted. I explain it this way because his writing is truly thought gripping yet so easy to understand. He proves his theory of an inner intelligence in such an elegant and mesmeric way. I am extremely grateful to see and read the amazing beauty he brings to this world!

He speaks of the silent gap in-between the stream of consciousness, and how important it is to access this gap. This gap is full of intelligence and is accessible when we slow down the horizontal axis of thought, and sink vertically to a depth that transcends all manifestations of the mind.

Read, study and observe to strengthen your mind and contemplate the beauty of life.
